About FSU Credit Union 

FSU Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution organized to provide checking and savings accounts, loans and other financial services to its members.  It is both owned and controlled by its members, with each member having an equal vote and the opportunity to serve on the board of directors. 

What membership means:

Members elect credit union board of directors; each member has an equal vote, regardless of how much he or she has on deposit.  Only members may serve as directors, and directors serve without compensation.  Credit unions have no outside stockholders, so after reserves are set aside, earnings are returned to members in the form of higher dividends on savings, lower loan rates and low cost services. 

Who can become a member of FSUCU?

You qualify for membership if you work for or belong to any of the groups shown in what we call our Field of Membership.  The Field of Membership includes the Florida State University community as well as many companies that conduct business with or for the university. 

Florida Sate University Credit Union Field of Membership:

•  FSU Students in good academic standing.
• The faculty and staff of the Florida State University.
• FSU graduates who live and/or work in Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Liberty, Leon, Wakulla and Bay Counties.
• Members and employees of organizations which are part of the FSU community.
• Members and employees of businesses that do business with and/or have offices at FSU.
• Family of existing Florida State University Credit Union members
• Employees and residents of the Retirement Facility located at 100 John Knox Road, otherwise known as Harbor Chase Senior Living Community.
• Employees of the Credit Union
• Individuals who live or work in Leon, Gadsden or Wakulla County
